A new post has been posted on the BioWare Blog. It announces that General Manager Gary McKay has also announced that Christian Dailey, who assumed the role of executive producer for the upcoming Dragon Age game, in 2020, following the departure Mark Darrah is also leaving.

Mac Walters, who previously served as both a writer/director and producer on the Mass Effect series, was informed that he had been appointed production director. Walters has been the BioWare science fiction series’ lead, but this will mark the first time he has been involved in leadership for Dragon Age. Corrine Busch, Game Director at BioWare’s science fiction series, and Benoit Houle, director of product development, are the other confirmed leaders.

McKay stated that the Dragon Age team would be posting more frequently via blogs and social media content. According to the post, the game is currently in the “middle” of development. The blueprint was finished sometime around 2021, and the studio is presently building on it.

This is just four years after the official game announcement at the 2018 Game Awards and eight years since the Dragon Age Inquisition was launched in 2014. Since the Trespasser DLC launched in 2015, the series has been in a state of uncertainty. The teasers followed featured Solas, a surprise villain and party member. Players have been patiently waiting for him to be taken down. However, the bullies don’t indicate that this story will get the most satisfying and personal conclusion.
