Legends of Runeterra – A Curious Journey Expansion Release Date, New Cards and Champions, Arcade Battle Event
Building on their success in the past, Riot Games has announced Legends of Runeterra, A Curious Journey. This is the latest expansion to this highly acclaimed strategy card game.
This new set has a lot of information. New cards and keywords are included. There’s also an arcade battle event where players can beat Final Boss Veigar to earn his skin.
A Curious Journey will end Ava’s journey and give the fight a sense of closure. This brings 48 new cards to the table, including four new Champions and Keywords, which should change the tide of battle.

A Curious Journey – New Keywords
Two new keywords are added to A Curious Journey: Attach and Formidable. Below is a description of what these words do:
- Attach – Support your units in a new way with Attach Attach units can be used on the board either as customary units or attached to allied units. This will provide the department with its stats and keywords, among other bonuses, depending on which card they are attached to. Connecting an allied unit counts as targeting it and triggers Fated effects, which provide even more power!
- Formidable: Formidable units transform bulk into strength and strike using their current Health instead. To make the most of Formidable teams, keep them healthy by not getting tired from fighting with enemy units.
