Russia seems to have a firm grip on Dystopian games. The Russian studio Mundfish, who also created the VR game Soviet Lunapark, has worked on a stunning new action RPG game Atomic Heart.

Atomic Heart is an FPS video game with action RPG elements. The combat consists of melee swinging and shooting with improvised weaponry. The crafting system allows you to create weapons from metal parts. These can be taken from robots and other household items. Atomic Heart is set in the Soviet Union during the 1950s, in an alternate reality where technology has advanced far beyond what it should. P-3, a KGB special agent who is mentally unstable, is sent by the government to investigate a factory that has gone dark. He discovers that the machines are rogue and that bioengineering is performing strange experiments.

The game is still in development but released a gameplay trailer on February 9th that showcased some fantastic scenes and designs. Some people are still a little concerned about the dubbed voices, and some people expressed an interest in hearing the original Russian cast mixed with English titles to avoid the awkward English dub.

Atomic Heart will be released at the end of 2022. It will be available on PC, PS4, Ps5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
