Resident Evil 3 Remake sells five million copies worldwide
Capcom’s Resident Evil 3 remake has sold more than five million copies worldwide. Capcom thanked its fans for their support of Resident Evil 3 Remake, as confirmed by the official Japanese Resident Evil account.
Three years after the highly acclaimed Resident Evil 2 remake was released, 3 Remake wasn’t as well received. This is due to its short length and inability to be replayed beyond Resident Evil: Resistance multiplayer. According to Siliconera, the game is still selling well and even surpasses the original Resident Evil 3.

Resident Evil 3 Remake is another Capcom success, but it’s worth noting that Resident Evil 7 sold more than 10 million copies. Resident Evil Village sold 5.7 million copies last year. This is clear evidence that Capcom’s survival horror franchise continues to succeed.
Resident Evil 3 Remake can be purchased now for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Resident Evil Village is also available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
