Sony’s Santa Monica Studio announced that it is now working on its next major project after God of War Ragnarok. They are also hiring an Art Director. This will be an unannounced project of “large scale”, which excludes any hirings at the end of Ragnarok.

GameRant has posted a job posting asking the successful candidate to “embark upon a new journey,” which could be unrelated to God Of War. Other than that, there are no details about Sony Santa Monica’s “large scale” project.

These details are so vague that it is unlikely that we will see the new Santa Monica game any time soon. We’d bet that, given the developer’s experience with God of War, this title will be worth our attention.

God of War Ragnarok will be coming to PS4 later this year, provided there are no unexpected delays. God of War (2018) arrived on PC last month to critical acclaim. There were also numerous technical and visual improvements. This game is available now on PS4, Steam and Epic Games Store.
