There was a lot of criticism about EA’s Battlefront games. The first Battlefront entry was criticized for its expensive Season Pass. Battlefront 2 was a mess with character costs and loot box controversy. Despite numerous updates, Battlefront 2’s fan reception has improved significantly since its launch.

Although there is no information on the release date of Respawn’s Star Wars games, rumours suggest Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 may be out later in the year. Star Wars Battlefront II is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
