YU-GI-OH! MASTER DUEL STEAM CONCURRENT LAYER COUNT PASSES 150,000 MARK AFTER SURPRISE LAUNCH
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s unexpected launch saw it’s Steam concurrent players quickly surpass the 150,000 mark.
The online, free-to-play card game is currently the fifth most popular game on Steam. It sits above Grand Theft Auto 5 (just released) and Monster Hunter Rise (just below the battle royale game Apex Legends.
Yu-Gi-Oh! According to the website Steam Database Master Duel’s Steam concurrent players count peaked on launch day at 159.158, making it one of January’s most significant releases.
The 10,000 cards in the title are a big draw for long-time and new fans. Other features such as crossplay and save are great bonuses for those who want flexibility.
Konami Digital Entertainment, the publisher and developer of the game, began to share more information about it in recent months. However, they remained vague on the launch window for the game in winter 2021.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s Steam user count reached a record 219,368 concurrent users on the next day.
