We can confirm that Riot’s Vanguard anti-cheat software cannot be downloaded without completing Valorant installation.
There is no separate source for Vanguard anti-cheat software. This means you will need to wait until you have access to Valorant closed beta before installing it.
Lucky players still have the chance to be eligible for the Valorant closed beta via Twitch Drop. This allows them to see how Vanguard performs its job.
You can uninstall Valorant’s Vanguard anti-cheat program by going to Control Panel -> Remove a Program, then looking for Riot Vanguard and clicking uninstall.
Riot Vanguard now has an icon in the system tray that appears when running. Players can use the icon to disable anti-cheat software. However, Valorant will not work until your computer is restarted.
You can also uninstall Riot Vanguard from the system tray icon by right-clicking, hovering over More, and selecting Uninstall Vanguard.
If you decide to uninstall Vanguard, Valorant will automatically install Vanguard when you start it up again.
Vanguard is currently disabled or uninstalled. This will allow you to bypass it from blocking specific software.
Valorant is currently in closed beta on PC. This is Error 46.
