DYING LIGHT 2 LENGTH: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE, ACCORDING to THE DEVELOPER
Dying light 2 is one of the most anticipated games this year. Developer Techland continues sharing details about what lies ahead when we begin hacking, slashing, and parkouring through zombies. The length and time it takes to complete are the latest news that caught the community’s attention.
According to the developer, Dying Light 2’s most dedicated players will need to play for a considerable amount of time to reach 100%. However, there is plenty of content for those who want to explore the story and side missions.
Techland tweeted Dying Light 2 would take 500 hours to complete if you aim for the fabled 100% completion mark. This is almost the same time it takes to walk from Warsaw, Poland, to Madrid.
The game’s storyline and side quests can be completed in 70-80 hours “if not in a hurry.” However, it still ranks alongside sprawling AAA RPGs in terms of length.
Fans have asked questions about how much time they will spend hunting down collectibles. Others worry that the team may have placed too much emphasis on quantity rather than quality.
Techland acknowledges that “not a lot” will reach 100% completion, but we’ll need to wait until the title launches next year to see if players prove this developer wrong.
Later, the developer clarified that players would need to spend 20 hours to end the main story. However, 500 hours is required to “max out the game with all main quests, choices, endings, main and side quests and endings, as well as checking every location on the map and every dialogue, and finding every collectible. “
Dying light two will launch on February 4, 2022. It is available for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. You’ll need to have a robust rig if you want to take advantage of Nvidia’s ray-tracing technology.
