WORLD OF WARCRAFT: SHADOWLANDS PATCH 9.2 RELEASE DATE – PTR AND LIVE SERVER LAUNCH
World of Warcraft Shadowlands’ patch 9.2 is the final chapter of the expansion. Its release date brings with it a new area for exploration, a raid that pits players against the Jailer, and many other features.
WoW’s 9.2 Eternity End Update is one of the updates that focus on expanding content. However, players can look forward to class changes once they are released, as well the return of class sets and the beginning of the new Mythic+ or PvP season.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands patch 9.2 was released on the PTR (public testing realm) the week of December 2, 2021. This was the first time players had the chance to test out the changes, which included the new Cypher of The First One’s progression system, and balance tweaks. Raid testing began towards the end of the month.
PTR cycles typically last 2.5 to 3 months. Therefore, we anticipate WoW 9.2’s release in mid-February or early March 2022. No matter if you are playing on US servers or EU servers, new updates go live every Tuesday or Wednesday.
World of Warcraft Shadowlands will release content at a slower pace than other expansions. It is expected to have a structure similar to Warlords of Draenor which received only two major patches.
The studio continues to be affected by the ongoing pandemic as well as internal issues. However, WoW’s 9.2 update is on the horizon and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the next expansion of the MMORPG will be better.
This article will be updated as soon as new information is discovered about Eternity’s End date.
