Square Enix gives all customers seven days of free FFXIV time due to server congestion.
Endwalker launched several days ago. Players could get their hands on the Early Access launch copy of the Endwalker expansion. Square Enix released a community update a few days before the launch of Endwalker. It explained the expected server congestion. They were correct, and it turned out. Yoshi is genuinely sorry that the servers are now more congested than ever.
Square Enix compensates players for not playing Endwalker or any other aspect of the game’s extensive content. On Sunday, December 5, Yoshi announced that all FFXIV gamers who are having trouble playing the game would be granted seven days of free FFXIV gaming time.
Free FFXIV game time
Thanks to the generosity of the developers, FFXIV is now available without any restrictions. Nearly everyone is experiencing server congestion at some point and the famous 2002 error. The server queues can be long, but the 2002 server error causes players not to log in. The player will lose their place if they are not quick enough to get back in the queue. This has happened several times at WPC this weekend.
The devs are compensating us for the congestion and frequent error codes. Endwalker will be released on December 7. The devs will give seven days of free play to players who have the whole game and an active subscription. This applies to players who have used their 30 days free game time, which was given for purchasing the latest expansion.
Morso developers have stated that if there are any further problems with the game after launch, they will give more game time to make up for them. We are waiting for an announcement; we don’t know how much time or when exactly.
It’s great to see Square Enix, Yoshi and the other players so understanding.
