Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1: When will it start? What’s new, when is it released? And what can we expect from the big turn?

Did you see it? Did you watch it? Fortnite Chapter’s season finale left us with a cliffhanger. Everything we love and know about Battle Royale was flipped upside down – literally. Chapter 3 will introduce new maps, new enemies and new ways of playing the game. But what do we know about the most significant Fortnite overhaul in years?

What season does Fortnite’s new season look like?

The Leakers have been busy suggesting and, er, leaking a start hour that appears to be 3:00 GMT/7 AM PST to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1’s start. Epic Games has yet to confirm this, but it is clear that there is smoke without fire. Fortnite is currently not available for play while the behind-the-scenes shenanigans continue. However, we are just a few hours away from finding out if Fortnite will be available.

This would be a quicker turnaround than the one between Chapter 1 & Chapter 2 a few years ago. Maybe Epic Games is getting better at this type of thing.

What’s the Fortnite website doing? Is there a Fortnite guy floating in an ocean?

A visit to fortnite.com currently shows us a looping video showing Fortnite’s Fortnite player floating in the ocean. This is probably after the Tsunami effects. We’ll have to wait and see what happens next.

Fortnite Server Status

The game is currently not available for play, so access to the server will be restricted while maintenance is done on the new Chapter.

Epic Games released the trailer for their new battle pass. It was accidentally leaked via another leak. But it looks great. Although we knew that Spider-Man would be cosmetics, the new island also includes an area of Spidey’s home, which is covered in webs. It even houses the Daily Bugle newspaper office.

For the first time, players will earn XP other than Battle Royale. This means that you can level up to Creative. Epic wants to ensure this isn’t exploited, so we advise you to play nice or face the banhammer.

The 100-level Battle Pass will also include Spiderman. We can expect to unlock six more. These are not known much, but we will be revealing more in the coming days and weeks.

We have seen a skin that Marcus Fenix, Gears of War’s character, has been revealed. Keep an eye out for him in future.
