We are now on the road to the end. Final Fantasy XIV will launch into Early Access on December 3. A full release will follow on December 7. Soon it will be time for you to travel to the moon.

Square Enix uploaded the FFXIV intro trailer to its FFXIV YouTube channel ahead of the launch. This is not the A Realm Reborn video trailer. It’s the trailer for version 1.0. This video was not available on YouTube before. The first Live Letter from the Producer aired on October 4, 2011. Square Enix is re-uploading the trailer, many fans wonder.

First, Endwalker is meant to end the storyline, which started in A Realm Reborn and ended in 1.0. It is the original FFXIV version of the game and is more relevant today than ever.

“With Endewalker, we’ve come complete circle in the tale of light and Hydaelyn,” Yoshida stated in the Endwalker announcement. This does not mean we will be closing Final Fantasy XIV at this time. This will start a new adventure, separate from the Zodiark Hydaelyn saga.

This trailer is a part of Eorzea’s history.

There is speculation that the trailer will contain critical information about the storyline of Endwalker. The trailer shows the original Warrior of Light, the stand-in Warrior of Light, fighting a Morbi. It then cuts to the Battle of Silvertear Skies. This conflict between the Dravanian Horde (the Garlean Empire) and the Garlean Imperial (using the colossal warship, the Agrius). The Empire wanted to seize Silvertear Lake as the center of the Aetheric lifeforce on the planet.

Midgardsormr was eventually able to take down the Agrius, the guardian at Silvertear Lake. The Agrius crashed into the lake, killing the dragon. A column of light appeared, containing images of the Primals. This signaled their entry into Eorzea. The Echo also granted some people extraordinary powers. The corpse of Midgardsormr can still be found atop the Agrius husk at the center of Silvertear Lake in Mor Doona. It is called The Keeper of the Lake on the in-game map.

Victor Hunter, my Sharlayan dropouts podcast host, speculates that Silvertear Lake may be a direct link to the aetherial ocean. This barrier is similar in appearance to that seen during the Antitower Dungeon. It sits over another access point to aetherial water. To study this phenomenon, the Antitower was built by the Charlatans.

Silverstar Lake may be a wound on the Earth. After all, it’s the spot where Zodiark was captured and expelled from the planet. That expelled chunk became the moon we are going to explore. Is it the entire moon or just a Dalamud-like structure built around Zodiark? The place where Zodiark is kept would explain why there are similarities between Zodiark and the creature in The Endwalker trailers. Perhaps the moon is a gigantic constructed ship, as we know from the history of the Allagans’ mastery over space travel.

This trailer’s release is so benign that it requires a lot of guesswork. Perhaps the move is a celebration of FFXIV’s progress, but it could also be something else. There have been speculations about the connection between Hydaelyn’s moon and Zodiark. Now there are hints that they might be correct.

We will soon see the Endwalker expansion. On December 7, 2021, the expansion will be available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Pre-orders will get Early Access starting December 3. You can see all of the extensive preview coverage we have provided in the lead-up to The Linkshell’s launch. Our new Final Fantasy XIV vertical is coming soon!.
