USE THESE MODS TO SURVIVE THE AFTERMATH AND MAKE BUILDING A POST-APOCALYPTIC COMMUNITY EASIER
Aftermath is now out of early access. This means that those who assume the role of post-apocalyptic colony builders will have to deal directly with the world’s destruction. Although the game is based on the challenge, you can find some mods to make it easier or more relaxing to play.
The Aftermath’s mods were first created during early access. You can quickly run out of resources in the game. Losing half your colonists due to lack of food, water, or medicine can cause a serious impact on your morale and that of the survivors.
If you are experiencing resource shortages, ellacharmed’s Resources Factory mod adds a structure that creates them from thin air.
Although the structure shares the same mesh as Fish Factory, they can be distinguished by using different logos. If you need a little extra help, you can set production limits and stop production.
Another useful Surviving The Aftermath mod is the Hexagon Pack. This increases the number and types of buildings that you can build in your colony. The Sandbag Bunker is another useful mod that can increase defence, fallout shelter, meal storage, and other house types.
Windfall adds an immersive way to get some goodies for your colony. It introduces a recurring event of the same name. It grants survivors, resources, seeds or insects, eggs, science points and currency for trading. Negative outcomes may result in you losing some resources or injuring some of your colonists.
Aftermath cheat mode is the last mod on our list. It allows you to enable the game’s cheat menu. This button gives you access to several buttons that allow you to spawn specialists, colonists, and other resources.
These mods will help you overcome the more difficult obstacles in the game. We also have scouting towers that scan the surrounding area for new ones. They will hopefully be published in the next weeks and months.
I am surviving The Aftermath, now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
