TIMBERBORN BEAVER BREEDING GUIDE – HOW TO GET MORE BEAVER POPULATION

Zookeepers spend a lot of time trying to get animals to love. Now you might be having the same problem and wondering how to get more Timberborn beavers.

This guide will help you understand the basics of colony management and offer some tips and tricks.

How to get more Timberborn beavers

Timberborn has two factions, the Folktales and the Iron Teeth. Each has its ways of making baby bears…also known as kits.

Timberborn- The Folktails

Folktales are more relaxed and will allow nature to take its course. You’ll need to let your beavers live in Lodges, which are their homes. These beavers have the chance to have babies if there are children available. This means you can keep a steady population by building only what you need.

This tactic can lead to many old beavers dieing together with fewer young beavers to have babies. Although this can cause a dip in your population, a large enough colony will not notice, and it is likely to be better than an endless spiral of growth.

Click on a Beaver to see their needs. For The Folktales, a happy Social Life will increase fertility by 50%. Because they can only serve a few beavers at once, you should build campfires often and early.

Timberborn-The Iron Teeth

On the other side, Iron Teeth are about transcending the limitations of nature and using the horrors or wonders of technology to overcome them. You can help more beavers to achieve this goal by creating Breeding Pods and adding water and berries.

There are many benefits to this, including the ability to quickly create large numbers or pause pods to manage your population better. Iron Teeth can also have higher-capacity sleeping barracks which will help to save resources.

Timberborn – Life Expectancy

Beavers can only be productive as adults. To get the best out of your workers, you will want to make sure they live as long and well as possible with their well-being bonus. These bonuses are easy to obtain early on, such as carrot growing and providing a safe place for them to sleep.

Consider this: If you move an elderly population to another district to expand, they may lose their bonuses. This can lead to many beaver deaths.
