Release Date
The update last year ran from December 22nd through December 30th. Players had access to loot and themed gear during this period. The 2019 event ran from December 20th through January 6th.
These past seasons make 2021’s holiday event a bit difficult to predict. However, the experience could continue into the new year. Rockstar will confirm the start and end dates.
Gifts and Gear
2020’s event welcomed players with a free variant of the Winter Evans Repeater Variant gun, as well as coupons for both a Repeater or a coat to keep warm during the holidays. A Santa Coat was one of the most popular clothing items.
Additional bonuses on RDO$ included 50% off Bounties and Collector content, as well as bonus codes. Wilderness Outfitters was also able to enjoy a 30% discount across the entire store.
