Shining Pearl and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond get Legendary Dumping Ground Ramanas Park
Just a little more than a week remains until Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl launch on Switch, November 19. It looks like there will be a new area for the remakes that allows you to capture Legendary Pokemon outside of the game’s Sinnoh region.
You will have to tell some Pokemon which version of the game they are running. Brilliant Diamond users will be able access to Ho-Oh and Raikou as well as Entei and Suicune. Shining Pearl gamers will be able summon Lugia and Articuno. This is not the complete list of Legendary Pokemon in this game. However, The Pokemon Company has provided screenshots and art showing Rayquaza at Ramanas Park.
These Legendary Pokemon will only be available in the base version of the game. However, save files from older Switch Pokemongames will allow you to access Mythical Pokemon in your group. A Mew is available to those who have played Pokemon let’s go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. Jirachi can be added to your party by those who have saved data from Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Ramanas Park isn’t a new area in the Pokémonseries. Pokemon Sword & Shield got its own area in the Crown Tundra DLC. This area featured a lot of Legendary Pokemon and was available for capture. Although it’s not a net positive for the world-building of these game, it’s an easy way to capture many of the most powerful Pokemon all in one game.
Pokemon Shining Pearl and Pokemon Diamond & Pearl are remakes. These games look back, but Pokemon Legends is looking ahead, with new mechanics, a very original storyline, and setting for an Pokemon RPG.
