Overview

Space will take you to hundreds of galaxies. You must ensure that your spaceship is safe enough to allow you to travel safely.

In FTL, you experience the atmosphere of running a spaceship trying to save the galaxy. This is a risky mission. Each encounter presents a new challenge and multiple solutions. What should you do if a heavy missile attack destroys your shields?

You can redirect all power to your engines to escape, get additional weapons to destroy your enemy, or join the fight with a boarding party. You can take your crew and ship on an adventure through a random galaxy full of glory and bitter defeat.

FTL: Advanced Edition is now available as a free expansion! New alien races, events, weapons, and playable ships are all included. Ben Prunty and Chris Avellone add additional musical tracks. FTL should automatically update any existing content if you have it. Anyone who buys the game after this date will receive an Advanced Edition free of charge.
