The USA has once more pushed back the date when its entire ban on doing business with Huawei will take effect, the Department of Commerce announced this week.
This is the fourth Extension into the permit the US government has allowed.
After originally banning US businesses from conducting business using Huawei back May over worries that the Chinese authorities could use the enterprise to spy on Americans.
The expansion will be important for rural telecom suppliers, many of which have increased reliant on Huawei’s media equipment.
