Blu-ray, DVD, and on-demand will follow on April 4th
With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’s run in theatres soon coming to an end, Disney announced that the film will soon be accessible as a house release.
The film will be released from Digital HD on choices that are on-demand, and March 24th, together with all the DVD, Blu-ray after on April 4th.
The house releases will include a variety of special features. There character featurettes, Bodhi, and the film’s actors speaking about Baze, Cassian, K-2SO, Jyn & Chirrut & Saw.
There are also several behind-the-scenes features which look at how the movie connects to the Star Wars universe, the future of the franchise, and Rogue One’s creation.
What does not seem to be contained is deleted scenes (of which there are apparently many), nor some sound commentaries.
Like The Force Awakens last year, there will be a variety of retailer-exclusive editions out of Target, Best Buy, and Walmart. Best Buy and Walmart will find a SteelBook bundle and a set, respectively.
