It already works with the Moto Z3 and Z4
Motorola’s Moto Z2 Force Is now compatible with the 5G Moto Mod, which means that you can add 5G compatibility into the two-year-old telephone on Verizon’s 5G network. At a blog post, Motorola stated the performance will be available from this week. Previously, the 5G Moto Mod was only compatible with the Moto Z3 and Z4.
As well as adding 5G functionality to a third device, Motorola says that it’s also putting out a software upgrade that will permit its phones to discuss electricity with the 5G Moto Mod. If the power level of either the Mod or the phone drops under a certain level, then another apparatus provides it some electricity (depending on whether it has enough to share, obviously ). Motorola also says that this update will improve speeds on the 5G network of Verizon. The upgrade will be available for Z3 and the Z2 Force, and will come pre-installed on Z4’s purchased from Verizon.
Verizon’s 5G network is presently offered in a full of nine US cities, and the carrier plans to roll it out to more than 30 cities by the end of the year.
Verizon does not Appear to have some plans to sell Z2 Force phones, and we were not overly impressed with it if it Launched back in 2017 we wouldn’t advise you to pick up one today. However, if you are now using one of those mobiles, live in an Existing coverage area, and want to try 5G out without purchasing a whole New handset, then you finally have the option. We’ll admit that this makes For a special Venn diagram of users, however you can not fault Motorola for trying.
