JENNA JAMESON DEFENDS ADULT STAR NICKI BENZ
What follows below is a Q&A using Jennings. It has been edited for clarity and brevity.
Fox News: What caused you to leave the pornography industry?
Jennings: There but it is a business. They do not fit into a box and don’t I. That is a project and you have to find the one that has pros and cons you can live with. I didn’t wish to be Veronica Vain because it was representative . If you are a country singer trying to become a rapper, you would not feel comfy. I came off as this strong individual and it was not me.
On Top of this, I need to work in the politics. It was a combination of not needing to be this brand and the income streams and of being a porn star, workflow was dull to me. As though I fit in, I didn’t feel.
Fox News: There’s always this Populous that believes that porn is degrading to women, that it sets them in a negative light. What should you say to that?
Jennings: There’s a trend in porn there are such sex scenes. But I think there’s a massive misconception they don’t enjoy that or that it makes girls look bad.
Girls are searching for More forms of pornography when you examine the analytics. Girls, including myself, are considering it as a fantasy. We are more into scenarios and there is something a bit more extreme about it all.
There Are two groups of women — women who see and women who don’t. The people who do, they are more into the competitive nature of it. Where they really want to get treated like that, it’s more of a dream to a lot of girls, not something.
Fox News: After leaving porn, why did you select looking for a YouTube celebrity and video games?
Jennings: I had been intending to brand myself as a porn star As soon as I left Wall Street and there aren’t a great deal of ways. I took the gamble if it worked but it didn’t inspire me to see. I then left and was faced with a reality of,’What do I do?’ Sure I might find a job being a dealer or something like that, but what do you do when you have a base of people who understand you’re and you’re public. How do you leverage that?
The Initiative came from leveraging the crowd into something which suited me better. I’ve always been a nerd that is massive and with video games and I have always played with, if it was in pornography or on Wall Street.
I Like since I did not have much else going on and being in the front of the camera, I began a YouTube channel. It’s grown steadily and it is something I’m passionate about.
Fox News: You’ve been out of porn for about a year or so. What’s been the most easy aspect of this transition? The toughest?
Jennings: It’s been easy in the sense because I am doing something that I’m not. It’s been easy to just be myself.
The Hard things is I used to earn more money (laughs). I thought it was going to be a whole lot simpler to convert my crowd in to getting on board my station, but it has been hard to get folks to come over to watch YouTube. I have around 100,000 on Twitter roughly 130,000 followers on Instagram and 18,500 on YouTube. It is a whole different creature, committing to building this from scratch.
Fox News: Have Been There some similarities to what you’re doing versus what you’re doing at Lazard now? Any chance of a return?
Jennings: It was pure analytics and building a database. YouTube is basically like a start-up in that you are building a mini company. You have customer support (involvement ), analytics, and understanding what your customer base does and doesn’t like. It is more than simply going in front of a camera and editing.
I feel like I have Do not require venture capital funds for. There is something very cool about being a one-woman startup (laughs).
I Don’t think I be an analyst and would go back to Wall Street. Down the line, my long-term objective is to get involved in venture funds and start-ups, building and creating something is something I have always been very attracted to.
On Wall Street, it is less about value production And more about worth manipulation — ideally, doors will be opened by YouTube down the line and validate me.
Fox News: E-gaming has Become this thing, rising from obscurity by a couple of years back to this mega industry. It helped you personally?
Jennings: It is Weirdly strange people are into this. I will stream for four or five hours and I have people the entire time. There’s a huge opportunity there. The simple fact that it exists, having an audience, it is tremendously beneficial.
Fox News: Do you have any programs to the return to the porn industry?
Jennings: YouTube Is my priority, therefore I need to make that apparent. But if I ever Went back to pornography, it would be originally. I put a great deal of effort into this notion. What I heard is that If you are unproven, you don’t have your money and you are a female, It is hard to get it.
