I have not used one myself, so I will direct you over to Lynn La’s LG G8 ThinQ review. She liked it a lot (rating: 8.5), but dinged a couple of facets of its own camera and flaky Air Motion attribute. Those dings are no doubt much easier to forgive at $500 than they were at $850.

We’re A Spotify household, and I am always telling my kids: You don’t have any idea how blessed you will have unlimited access to all of the songs of the world, anytime, anyplace.

What they don’t know (shh!) Is they are Not obtaining the best audio experience. That is because Spotify and most other streaming providers rely on compressed sound, which robs the listener of complete fidelity. Enter Tidal, the only”major” service that provides lossless sound — meaning at least on par with CD quality, or even better.

It’s pricey, though: $19.99 a month for the six Listener family plan. (Most other services cost $5 less.) For a limited period, however, brand new Tidal clients can get a 3-month household HiFi plan for just $5.99. That is not per month; that is the whole cost.

After that, obviously, you are going to have to pay the regular rate. But this provides you with an elongated trial for mere peanuts.

To Be honest, I am not really a fidelity junkie; I am OK with the sound Quality afforded by Spotify. I’m curious, however, to see if I could tell a difference. If you had tried Tidal previously, tell me: Can you?
