5 G Has become a source of unrest for Huawei. The US government, worried that Huawei could assemble security flaw”backdoors” to 5G and other communications infrastructure, has driven governments around the globe to avoid employing the Chinese giant’s equipment. With 5G a year or two away in the mainstream, Huawei has now started looking into the next generation of cellular internet.
The Chinese company is exploring 6G at its R&D centre in Ottawa, Canada, reports The Logic. Evidently, this is a forward-looking move on the organization’s part. It does not anticipate 6G to be a reality in any meaningful sense until around 2030.
Huawei was blacklisted in the US in May, together with President Donald Trump also signing an executive order essentially banning the company in light of national security concerns which Huawei had close ties with the Chinese government. The government’s fear is that the Chinese authorities could use infrastructure Huawei builds in the US and other nations for spying or espionage. Huawei has repeatedly denied that bill.
Trump’s Huawei blacklist, which has been reversed, supposed that the company Was blocked by using American products, including Google’s Android system. Huawei last week unveiled HarmonyOS, An operating system for smart devices, like Smart TVs, car infotainment Systems and much more, which the company says can be used to power its phones when the US does re-block it out of utilizing Android.
