Xiaomi announces its Redmi 64MP camera phone is coming soon. The company has confirmed that the Redmi 64MP camera phone will launch in India in Q4 2019. Xiaomi also says it will be one of the first brands to launch a 64MP camera smartphone. Meanwhile, Realme and Samsung are also working on a 64MP camera phone. Realme will announce its 64MP camera technology tomorrow, August 8.
Redmi stays ahead in the competition and announces the camera technology that is being used in the Redmi 64MP camera phone today. Xiaomi confirms the upcoming 64MP Redmi phone will use 64MP Samsung ISOCELL sensor. The same sensor is expected in the 64MP Realme phone. Talking about the new and most advanced camera technology Xiaomi says that the 64MP camera sensor will be able to shoot better pictures compared to 48MP camera.
Talking about the 64MP camera sensor Xiaomi further claims that the users will be able to capture better, brighter, vibrant and more detailed pictures when compared to any other sensor including 48MP. Xiaomi says, “Our all-new #64MP camera sensor packs in 38% more pixels than a #48MP camera. Soon you’ll be able to click photos that are brighter, vibrant and more detailed than ever before!”
This clearly means expect the upcoming Redmi phone to click much better pictures when compared to the Redmi K20 Pro that includes 48MP Sony IMX585 sensor. Xiaomi announces that the 64MP Samsung ISOCELL sensor brings 38 per cent more pixels (9248x6936p) when compared to 48MP sensor. Xiaomi further says, “With a large 1/1.7″ sensor, ISOCELL, Smart ISO and Hybrid 3D HDR capabilities, our #Redmi #64MP camera will redefine the way you’ve been experiencing the smartphone camera.”
Xiaomi India is yet to reveal the launch date or exact timeline of the launch of the Redmi 64MP camera phone but the company has confirmed that it will be one of the first brands to launch 64MP camera phone. “Redmi will be one of the 1st brands in the world to launch a mind-blowing, powerful and class-leading #64MP camera,” Xiaomi says. Some reports suggest that Realme 5 will be the company’s 64MP camera phone coming very soon.
